Before you book.

Do I need a referral or a diagnosis first?

No. The scalp analysis is the diagnosis step, Dawn evaluates your scalp, history and (when relevant) bloodwork, and coordinates with your physician if anything needs medical follow-up.

Does Alma TED hurt?

No needles, no anesthetic, no downtime. Most clients describe a warm vibration and mild pressure, then drive back to work.

How soon will I see something?

Many clients notice reduced shedding within about two weeks of a first TED treatment; visible density takes longer and varies by cause. We take progress photos at every visit so you're never guessing.

I'm not local, can we still work together?

Yes. Virtual trichology consultations cover your history, photos and next steps, and in-studio treatment plans can be scheduled around visits to the Sacramento area.

What should I do before my first visit?

Complete the hair-growth questionnaire (linked in your confirmation and in our footer), come with your hair in its normal state, and bring any recent bloodwork if you have it.

Is this only for women?

Not at all, nearly half of trichology clients are men. Pattern loss, crown thinning and beard-line concerns are all everyday work here.
